Outdoor Classroom

Chappy, Levana and Paige
At Conondale state school we have been building an outdoor classroom in the garden. The roof was recycled from iron that was donated. The uprights were recycled from a gumtree that was going to fall on the library. The battens are the bits of wood that the roof is attached to, we got the wood from Cambroon bridge when the council pulled it down after the floods. The bench seats are made from an old shed that we demolished. Than we put a rubbish bin lid that we were throwing away.
Eventually the year 6/7 class will plant some colourful flowers around the outdoor classroom.  It’s going to be so much better than working inside! WE CAN’T WAIT!!!
